Well done to all the cast & the production team for the Cairns Choral Society's 2024 SOLD OUT production of Les Misérables. The 2pm matinee performance was the penultimate show. I was delighted to have been in the audience for this wonderful performance at the Cairns Performing Arts Centre.
It's good to see more and more 'artists' are choosing to add Cairns to their list.
The Cairns Performing Arts Centre allows that to happen with a state of the art venue with plenty of seats for people to come and watch a show.... or two... Very impressive.. Hopefully more artists will add Cairns to their next world tour.

Such a lovely venue, bar staff so friendly, drink prices excellent. Lots of indoor/outdoor seating.
We went to the Multicultural Comedy Gala, and the Monty Python Cairns Choral Society, the acts were hilarious, well done to everyone.
The seating comfortable, and the view amazing, and the toilet facilities fantastic, so many of them that you don't have to wait long to go!
A good modern theatre with a seating design that allows everyone to have a good view of the stage. Plenty of surrounding road parking, an extensive range of drinks available at a reasonable price. Some very good productions, would recommend.
Staff were very helpful. My partner is a double amputee Staff were very accommodating to see us to the lift for his convenience. Chairs were comfortable & thoroughly enjoyed the show
I saw a comedian in The Studio. The room was nice and small, with plenty of seating. The chairs are spaced out with decent leg room. Nice and intimate.

Intimate and small auditorium
I recently attended a local production of Wicked at the newly opened Cairns Performing Arts Centre. The new building is beautiful with great facilities including a bar that opens up on 2 sides serving both internally and externally of the building . Staff were very friendly and helpful on the night. The only negative is the seating is a little uncomfortable which my companion for the evening also found to be the case.
